ABOUT THE LEADER
Tiago Quintela, aka Moy Dei Na, a Senior Master in Ving Tsun Kung Fu, also excels as an entrepreneur and IT executive. With a background in Classical Languages, he's devoted to preserving traditional Ving Tsun through his Lin Fa Mo Gun academy in Brasília, Brazil.
Tiago Quintela (Moy Dei Na) is a direct disciple of Grand Master Leo Imamura (Moy Yat Sang), being part of the 11th generation of disciples in the lineage of masters of the Ving Tsun Kung Fu Genealogy.
He is a second-generation disciple of Patriarch Moy Yat, coming from the lineage of the famous Patriarch Ip Man.
Tiago was accepted into the Moy Yat Sang family in 2001, making his Hoi Kuen (formal entry into a kung fu family) in October of that same year.
In 2015 he was titled, by Grand Master Leo Imamura, Qualified Master by Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence.
In 2017, his title was expanded by the hands of Mrs. Helen Moy, wife of Patriarch Moy Yat and leader of the Moy Yat Clan around the world. On this occasion, in the city of Brasília, he receives the title of Master from the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation.
In 2024, on the occasion of Grand Master Leo Imamura's 61st birthday, in the city of Brasília: Brazil, he received the title of Senior Master, this time at the hands of his mentor Grand Master Leo Imamura and the president of the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation, Grand Master William Moy.
On the same day, he was sworn in as a member of the Council of Senior Masters of the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation.
Originally from Belo Horizonte / MG, he has a Bachelor's degree and a degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Classical Languages and Portuguese, having also worked as a teacher in several schools in his hometown.
An entrepreneur, he was the founder of companies both in the Education area, working with personalized and complementary education, and also in the Information Technology area.
In the IT area, he worked as an Executive in a Multinational Telecommunications Company and in the global Outsourcing market, having extensive experience in people management, crisis management and customer relations, working at the CEx level.
With a rich and plural career, he was able to contribute to society in the most varied ways by using his learning in Martial Arts, from where he obtained his main human and professional training.
In Brasilia, since 2018, he has once again started, together with his wife, in the city's local commerce, in addition to opening for the first time his space dedicated to Kung Fu Education, Lin Fa Mo Gun, in which he obtained his first disciples, legatees of the traditional Ving Tsun Kung Fu system, which he has dedicated himself to safeguarding daily.
